Meet Danni
Danni is a freshly graduated graphic designer living in a rear-facing studio apartment (she alternatively calls it a cave lol) in the East Village of Manhattan, NY. The size of her studio has allowed Danni to experiment and prioritize functional living.
Favourite area of your home?
What is probably the most eye-catching part of my home is my gallery wall! I love seeing the styles of art/design pieces I gravitate towards and have collected over time. I think it says a lot about my personality, but also serves as documentation of the places and people I purchased/acquired my prints from during a particular time in my life since pursuing a career in graphic design.
Favourite vintage / decor piece?
It would have to be my tall green vase that I got off Depop which I got as soon as I began settling into the apartment. It was my first I’m-going-to-start-investing-in-my-space purchase, if you will. It signifies my first time living alone (after having lived with a roommate for three years) and I just love how the color green pops on my dining table.
Coolest feature of your home?
100% the exposed brick wall. It’s a feature many people in NY dream of, so I consider myself very lucky to have it!
Your favourite plant?
Because I get little to no sunlight in my apartment, I’ve only invested in one low-maintenance (but well-loved) plant, my ZZ plant, Lizz. Lizz was the first plant I’ve ever owned and managed to keep alive and, again, is also a reminder of my first year deciding to live on my own.

I will be a fresh college graduate come mid-May, so I am currently on the hunt for a job/internship involving graphic design/branding here in NYC. I am also in the process of finishing my first ever typeface, which should be ready for purchase come June!
